PHOTOGRAPHY

The Blackwood Forest is a regular location for a number of local photographers. During the summer months it is quite normal to see family portraits, wedding photographs, baby pictures and even fashion photoshoots happening in the forest.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHS

We welcome wedding parties to the Park for taking photographs on their special day. The pine forest, former manager’s office and house offer picturesque locations.

A free permit is required by contacting National Parks and Wildlife Service SA Park Ranger on  8278 5477) or email to DEW.AMLRBlackHillOffice@sa.gov.au  to ensure there are no other events being held on the day. A donation to the Friends of Blackwood Forest is appreciated to help us continue with the re-vegetation and park maintenance work.
